The Best Short FilmsWhy Watch? In this quick shot, a mysterious figure stands over a car wreck, then thumbs a ride to get down the road without saying a word. It’s that silence that Bri Meyer plays with here so well. It’s a touch of Twilight Zone with some quirky animation and a lot of uneasy tension created between the welcoming traveler and the hitchhiker who won’t respond. Fortunately, that colorful sense of foreboding is never too heavy, and it pays off with an expected yet satisfying outcome that Rod Serling would probably chuckle at. What will it cost you? Only 2 minutes. Skip work. Watch more short films.
