What is Movie News After Dark? It’s a nightly collection of links from around the movie blogosphere that is impressed with the rest of the FSR staff’s ability to cherry pick all the really good news for full articles. That just makes it have to dig deeper. So lets do this.

We begin this evening with a new image from The Dark Knight Rises. One of six, to be exact. This one shows Anne Hathaway as Catwoman doing some of her cat burglary with her high-tech ears on. The folks over at Filmophilia present a list of the Top Eleven Animated Features Defining Generation Y.

io9′s Lauren Davis presents a guide to How to Bring Back Firefly in Five Terrible Steps. It’s just another fun way of talking about Joss Whedon’s highly entertaining Reddit AMA session.

Speaking of Joss Whedon, the man (and Marvel Studios) debuted The Avengers last night at its Hollywood premiere. And there were a few people in attendance who would then go on to make remarks on Twitter. Christopher Campbell over at Movies.com has captured these responses in an appropriately titled article, What Are People Saying About The Avengers? Spoiler alert: Seth Green loved it.

The folks at Mental Floss have rounded up an amazing list of 14 Absolutely Crazy Foreign Posters for American Movies, including this ridiculous Alien poster from Poland:

And finally, the kids at /Film have hipped us to this one. “Imagine what would happen if the 3D rerelease of Titanic was so profitable that James Cameron employed George Lucas, Michael Bay and JJ Abrams to create a Super 3D version of the film to give audiences an updated 4D experience.” Yes.
