We begin this evening with a blurry, somewhat comprehensible image of Spock (Zachary Quinto) falling in front of a green screen on the set of Star Trek 2. According to Screen Rant’s theory — and a spy report — this could very well be Spock falling into a Volcano on a “jungle planet” as part of a big CGI set piece. I’m for it.
If this report from Deadline is to be believed, Dreamworks is close to picking up a movie version of Need for Speed, the popular video game about driving around the streets of the world’s most beautiful cities. There’s really no narrative to the game. It plays out a lot like a video game version of 2 Fast 2 Furious. So I guess you could say they made that movie already.
